Manufacturing Associate

In this role you will be part of a team that produces top-of-the-line outdoor gas fire tables and custom outdoor kitchens. Our products can be found in residential backyards, restaurant patios, hotels, apartment complexes and more. We strive for continuous improvement and empower all coworkers to participate in the development of future products and innovation.

We offer profit sharing, health/dental insurance, 401K, holiday pay and vacation/PTO. 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Hours Flexible)

Job Duties/Skills

  • Product assembly of outdoor living products and components (Fire Tables, Outdoor Kitchens, Etc.)
  • "Hands on" mechanical aptitude
  • Operate production equipment and obtain ability to troubleshoot
  • Manufacture custom products based on customer requests and also assemble stock product line
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Keep records of production quantities and time
  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts, Participate in implementing solutions
  • Position spends 95% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing

Experience/Education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour based upon experience

Small Parcel Warehouse Associate

The Outdoor Greatroom Company is looking for a team member to join them as a Small Parcel Warehouse Associate. This person will be responsible, alongside the other team members for all aspects of the warehouse to function efficiently and accurately. This role includes great attention to detail and focuses on receiving and working with the small parcels within the warehouse, including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing of products for customer delivery. Maintaining safety and keeping things organized in the warehouse is a key piece of this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives material at the facility from vendors, customers, or other warehouses
  • Accurately and promptly receive and check items against correctly lists and systems
  • Responsible for examining all incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and appropriately report/record any discrepancies
  • Correctly place materials in designated storage areas, including the shelves and racks in the warehouse
  • Verify the quanity of items received against the purchase order
  • Utilize warehouse computer system, identifying and documenting back order and inventory stock lists
  • Identify items to be shipped in order, and assemble them accurately
  • Prepare all shipping documentation
  • Review all orders to determine correct picking
  • Load and unload trucks using necessary equipment in a safe manner
  • Accurately count stock as listed on the cycle count list
  • Help keep floor areas clean and warehouse free of trash
  • Occasionally interacts with customers in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Any other duties deemed necessary as needed.

Experience/Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Warehouse and distribution experience
  • Experience with WorldShip -Shipping Software Platform

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work in temperatures that are typical of a warehouse environment
  • Position spends the majority of the time standing, walking, lifting, and operating a forklift
  • Work under deadlines required for completing orders on time

Pay: $17-$18/Hr based on experience

Technical Services & Sales Representative

Purpose of Position

To support the vision and goals of Outdoor GreatRoom Company by providing technical support and assistance to customers regarding product issues.

Key Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Managing troubleshooting and training information for ease of use by internal members and external customers.
  • Generate installation, troubleshooting and maintenance information to assist customers in resolving problems.
  • Identify product issues and root cause to make product improvements and work with operations to implement the changes.

Background and Skills

  • 5+ years technical background with gas and electricity
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Must work effectively as part of a team and can build relationships with others.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Scope and Impact of Responsibilities

  • Actively participate on the phone or via email with customers to answer questions.
  • Actively participate in resolving technical issues with customers.
  • Develop and or help in developing needed processes, procedures, and protocols to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Participate in new product launches to help identify and address customer design concerns prior to product launch.
  • Work with technical writer on installation manual content.
  • Generate new product training information for internal members and external customers prior to product launch.
  • Assist engineering in identifying required service parts for new product launches.
  • Contribute freely to the solution of identified quality, consumer, customer, marketing, or sales problems with existing products as needed.
  • Make presentations to small groups about testing criteria, test results, and ideas relevant to projects.

Relationships

  • Internal – Sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and quality.
  • External – OEM customers, dealers and distributors, and the end consumers.
Powder Coater

In this role you will be part of a team that produces top of the line outdoor gas fire tables and custom outdoor kitchens. Main Duties

  • Identifying, picking and returning of powder boxes correctly according to a work schedule.
  • Electrostatic powder coating of products in a spray booth on a conveyor line according to specifications.
  • Demonstrating good ability to spray a Powder to the correct thickness range
  • Having versatility to spray to a good standard and range of products from aluminum extrusions, large flat surfaces, odd profiles
  • Clean down of electrostatic spray guns and spray booths correctly.
  • Maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instructions.

Additional Duties

  • Hanging and preparation of products prior to powder coating
  • Using industrial powder coating ovens to cure powder coated products.
  • Packing of completed powder coated products.
  • General Housing Keeping - cleaning and keeping your work area tidy including basic maintenance of machine/tools.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
  • Maintain all quality systems in order to meet your production targets
  • Work additional hours over and beyond your normal working hours in order to achieve production targets (if needed)
  • Follow company standard operating procedures.
  • Take part in all company training programs and team briefing sessions.
  • participate in all other aspects of work related to the Company as needed

Experience/Education

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • High school diploma or greater
